NDRR Annual Dinner Disco to be held at the Park Hotel, Taw Vale,

Barnstaple, Saturday 30th January 2010, 7pm for 7:30pm till late.

Cost will be £23.00 pp & we need to know numbers by the beginning of Jan. 2010 latest.

A cheque for £1000 was presented by the club to The North Devon Hospice - I think this is the third one of these. This money was raised throughout the year, chiefly from our three main races, the Braunton 10, Arlington and the Doone Run

John Shapland has been selected to represent England at the 2009 British and Irish Masters Cross Country International at Birmingham in November.

Mike Phillips recently qualified as an athletics coach. Feel free to pick his brains...

Doone Run

I would like to say this year was the best ever Doone Run! Not just because we had a record entry and the near perfect weather but the NDRR came to the fore in more ways than one. Not only were NDRR strong in the field, retaining both team trophies, but they were there in numbers for the support too.

So a big thank you from me and well done to all the competitors.
